Aruba - Bournemouth

My first visit , not the last ! Chunky BBQ chicken wings- very tasty with sesame seed and spring onion and sweet BBQ sauce with a sour cream dip. My main of jerk chicken with black bean rice and slaw was delicious although l prefer it hotter. My wife enjoyed her mussels served with sourdough bread. Our delightful waitress Sonia I think- a striking red-haired lady looked after us well. A walk up the hill afterwards helped! A substantial meal.

I've been here twice in two days, as a solo business woman, I have felt safe, met lovely people and had great service. Today I wanted fish and chips by the seafront and after looking at reviews of others nearby I chose Aruba and I am glad I did. Service was attentive and the food was great!

Faultless service by Emily and Sophie. A real credit to Aruba. Nothing was too much trouble. Attentive, friendly and so accommodating. Music great too. Can't wait to return. Even cooked a few sausages for our french bulldog who was on hunger strike!!! Thank you so much. We are here for another two days. See you tomorrow. Xxx

We go here more for the drinks than food as the views are so great, right by Bournemouth Pier. It turns into a nightclub at night, which is very good.

The service I received upon my visit to this restaurant started off well but after paying and leaving the restaurant I reviewed my receipt and find that they charged me £1 extra for the cocktail I had (which wasn’t worth the price) and a service charge. They do mention service charge on the menu in small print. I wouldn’t mind but there was only me, the drink wasn’t amazing and they ripped me off. The chicken burger was nice but not £17.50 nice. Overall, been there done that and don’t feel the need to go back.
