Toro - Boston

I am impressed with Toro. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Food was exceptional and good drinks selection. We had goat cheese, tuna tartare, duck and braised wagyu (all delicious). I will definitely go back.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary (they have an unofficial “anniversary corner” in the front by the window where another couple was also celebrating their anniversary). I had been here before so we decided to skip the paella this time in favor of ordering more tapas. We had the white anchovies to start, the cod croquettes, the garlic shrimp, the duck drummettes and the steak. Solid wine and cocktail selection too.

Food wasn't anything special and even though there were many empty places, they shoved us onto a full high top. Service was good, but otherwise was disappointed.

Solid food but you'll be dining elbow to elbow with strangers.

Lively spot, food is definitely on the expensive side but very flavorful.
