Phenomenal. I got the curried goat, and its absolutely delicious. The sides as well, the rice and beans, veggies, and plantains are so tasty and everything goes so well together. The portions are big, and the service is friendly and fast. Will definitely be coming here a lot more.

In town for daughter’s graduation and husband wanted Ja food! Googled and found Flames pic look good, so we stopped in! No parking available. Found parking away off! We ordered curried goat with rice and peas, king fish and vegetables, peas soup with beef and the sweet and spicy wings. Good portions, food well seasoned and tasty and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this spot!

I’m writing this review as I eat my tray of food from Flames on Wednesday shortly before noon. I don’t know who is cooking Wednesday, 11:30AM at Flames but whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right. My favorite food on my tray right now is the shrimp and the plantains. However, everything I got is super delicious! Thank you

This is exactly the flavor we’ve been searching for! After two long years, we finally found it. The oxtail was juicy and packed with flavor, the fresh vegetables were vibrant, and the patties were just right. The curry chicken was fresh and aromatic, while the jerk was spicy and full of depth. Most of the meal was nearly perfect, including the seasoned sticky wings. However, the plain fried chicken was slightly dry, and the mac and cheese, although beautifully orange, tasted like it came from a box. I can't wait to try the goat and other dishes! Their chicken soup and sorrel were both outstanding, too. The staff were also incredibly sweet. Just a heads up, there’s no drive-thru as advertised. I'm so excited to have discovered this hidden gem!

The food is fantastic, the prices are excellent, and the service is wonderful. It's authentic and incredibly tasty. The service is quick, and the ladies in the kitchen are doing an amazing job with their jerk chicken. I highly recommend this place!
