Back Bay Social - Boston

Great little restaurant and bar on Boylston Street. Only complaint is we waited a while before being served but it didn’t really dampen our experience.

Seated in the downstairs, it looked and smelled like an old bar The room temp was quite chilly. Server disappeared after bring food which was well plated but did not taste fresh. Soda was flat. Would not recommend

We loved it! The dinner was fresh and fantastic! The service was great as well. Will definitely be back when we come back to town.

Non-pretentious, welcoming and value for money are the top three reasons I keep coming back….oh, and the burger!

If you don't like dark environment for brunch, skip this place. I found it very depressing to eat my breakfast without seeing a beam of sunsine. Ordered steak and eggs $20) and didn't like it because the whole meal was cold, fries were overcooked and thesteak was cut into 3-4 smaller pieces instead of coming out one-piece-steak like we expected. Nobody in my party liked what theygot. Also, the forks and knives were super oily to touch and we had to change it. I found this place overpriced for the qualityand taste. Also, they don't have any non-dairy milk option for coffee which is pretty basic nowadays, especially for arestaurant with brunches.
