Bidrage med feedbackFantastic service, nice food and very casual. Drop in for a coffee, a drink or a full meal. The place is styled with quirky '50's European quirky charm and is the little brother of nearby Arthur Radley restaurant.
Good, simple Italian food. Some nights are piza only [Sundays]. Wine list small but sensible and reasonably priced.
I parked in the back car park behind Mailing Rd and came through the alleyway and noticed "uncle Johnny's" on the right hand side. I had a look at the menu and it looked wide and varied enough. Ordered coffee, nice, that's the thing drinking long blacks, you can actually gauge the beans. The food was good, service was excellent so I will return, well done
The menu at this restaurant is average and doesn't stand out compared to other Italian eateries. The service is lackluster and gives the impression that the staff doesn't care if you return. It's a shame, as this neighborhood could really use some quality cafes and restaurants.
On Sunday evenings when most places are closed, we often go to Uncle Johnny's for a meal or just a coffee. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is good. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.
