Toscani's - Booval

I was shocked by the lack of hospitality at this restaurant tonight. The chef's choice to garnish my dish with beard trimmings was unappetizing and my ravioli was poorly prepared. The service and atmosphere were also disappointing. Overall, it was a horrible dining experience.

Staff were great but had no idea how to make a decent pizza. The base was like a slippery piece of store bought flat bread. With extra grease. Topping was less than what you would find on a frozen pizza. I was looking for a regular pizza house but sadly this won't be it.

My dining experience at the restaurant was disappointing. Two out of the four meals at our table were not as described on the menu. The Veal Scallopine was tough, overcooked, and not actually veal. It was served on cubed steamed potatoes instead of buttered mash. The Wild Mushroom Risotto only had button mushrooms, not the variety listed on the menu. When we brought this to the waitress's attention, she apologized and said she would inform the chef. However, the man we assumed was the manager or head waiter showed no interest in our concerns. It was clear that the waitress had no control over what goes onto the plates in the kitchen.

Hi we went to toscanis at riverlink last Friday night and had the most amazing meals. They also had a business there taking beautiful photos for us to take home as a gift. Just a small touch made a big difference. Also they had a face painter for the children. We would definitely recommend this place. Also the service was amazing

Started off well, not real busy and received good service and good main meal, but then forgotten about, waited but not asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert, no one in sight to ask, waitress materilised when we went to pay bill, offered dessert when I complained about service, too late!!!!!!
