Elkhorn Trading Post - Bondurant

This place has the best burger and kettle chips! we went into the tiny mini-mart then discovered that they had a good size dining room to the left. it looked like a rustic jagd hut with a black bear and beaver prominent along with elk and pronged horn antelope grazed. service was excellent! it seemed every job from the kitchen included a burger. lol and we do not forget the server. the lady waiting for us was outstanding! she had more energy than we both together. even gave us a tipp where we were looking for moose in a city on the road. I understand why most customers were native. a big place to eat!

Had a cheeseburger and fries at pool league night. It is definitely worth the stop. Very good burger price is right there.They definitely make you feel welcome. Left there feeling the smile muscles in the cheeks lots of laughs.

One of our favorite places for years now. We dine as much as possible when we are in the area, the food never fails to impress us! Fried pickles is a must! The establishment is smoke free, and family friendly to all.

Terrible service, stopped for lunch, waitress only came by to take the order, never got back to the table in 40 minutes to fill drinks, let us know about delays. Paid for a meal we never got. Would NOT recommend or visit again. Learn what service is, because you absolutely have no idea how to take care of paying customers.
