Tupelo Honey - Boise

We had to find a fast food after leaving a plane and seeing this place with great reviews. I add my two cents to say that this was a big sound in boise! I'll be back soon! the food was great and the service matched it!

Great good and drinks. recommend them extra hot sauce for the chicken. eating was recommended.

This is a fun idea of eating traditional South comfort. delicious! sweet server, excellent aromen and an entertaining atmosphere. if I add something negative, it is that it was a bit loud and the situation in the city was hard for the parking lot on a busy Saturday night (although certainly not her fault!) it is a place where we will definitely return!

Food has consistently gone downhill over the last couple years. We’re last minute eaters and I keep seeing open tables here so we keep trying to give it another go because the vibe is nice but the food just ISN’T GOOD. Someone who works there that we complained to said she’s embarrassed by a lot of the dishes. Most notably they went from fresh green beans to canned. HOW?! How is this vibe of a downtown spot serving veggies out of a can? We gave it our last shot. Open tables ON WEEKENDS at the last minute is all the sign we ever needed and we should have gone to the Olive Garden a 3 star restaurant with better food quality and taste. I never write reviews but please spare yourself the smothered chicken is covered in thick sludge as we were told it’s likely “old gravy reheated” and I’ve had repetitive flashbacks accompanied by dry heaves since we left. It’s really hard to mess up gravy on chicken …. But I can promise you they have done that and done it with full success.

Our waitress was every energetic and positive service was outstanding which made a great dinning experience. Food was very good. I will be back.
