Anthony's Boise

Service was slow as our server spent too much time in conversations with two women at another table nearby. The one cocktail I had, scotch on a rock, contained so little that it was gone in about three sips. Had to have been a 1-oz. pour. The food was generally excellent and of high quality, if a bit expensive, but we knew that having dined at Anthony's several times.

I was rather disappointed in the food. Everything tasted good but it was nothing spectacular. We could have gone to Outback for the same thing at half the cost. Our waitress was awesome though! She made the evening.

Sherry B is a super server. My date (wife) changed her drink order several times and Sherry didn't flinch, no eye rolls, just a smile and action to get the order changed. Her service coupled with a great food from the kitchen made her birthday dinner something she's been talking about all day! Way to go TEAM!

Had the all you can eat limited time crab dinner that came with excellent mashed potatoes, brocolli and endless Dungeness crab with exceptional service from our waitress Joe. Amazing attentiveness and desert was to die for!

Asked hostess for a booth, said none were available. Sat down and saw 3 booths available. One booth nobody sat at for the 2 hours we were there. The others were sat within an hour. Dinner was just all right. The food came out of order. Salad first, appetizer second and dinner. Calamari was not very good, I should have stuck with the ahi nachos which are very good, just a very small portion for the price. Oysters were expensive and not very good. Scampi with prawns were dry, tasteless and very small, not prawns in my opinion, I would say shrimp size... again not worth the price. All you can eat crab was the best deal, except some came out cold and others came out steamed and warm. Anyway, very slow service. The server was very nice and kept us informed the entire time. What can she do, she does not control the kitchen. We have been to Anthonys a few times, but in my opinion for the price, I would go somewhere else. I was not impressed with the food.
