In my whole life there were very few places where I felt the service was despicable, rude and inconspicuous as this place. It took an hour to get the attention of the waiters, finally we had to get up to order food and pay bill. It was so bad we thought we were just going away. The food was good, I asked a salad with the dressing on the side, the waitress said she can't do that. all the time we sat at the table no one came to see if we needed anything. It's just the worst place and I'd never come back.

My husband and I have been coming here pretty often since it is in a convenient location to where we are staying and the food has been great! He likes to get the schnitzel with pommes, but be prepared to eat a lot they give you two schnitzel and a large portion of crispy fries. I was getting the vegetarisch lentil steak with Wichtelsalat, which was very good, but they vary the menu every week or two, so I haven 't been able to order it again! We have both also been ordering some of the various wichtels they offer here all very good! The current special one is a summer wichtel, which is excellent! We share one and each have small mixed salads. Then, it 's a large Pils for him and a weinchorle (wine spritzer) for me. We almost always eat outside and it can get crowded. If you like cars, you will most likely be entertained because this spot seems to be a place where big boys with their toys like to cruise by, showing off their vehicles and making them growl/purr or whatever. Anyway, the wait staff is very friendly and they sometimes have their hands full with trying to keep up with all the orders during busy times. Casual atmosphere.

Can't say anything bad about this place. Great food, great beer and the staff is super nice. Love being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather when nice.

A bunch of us went here for a pre-meeting lunch and really enjoyed ourselves. There's plenty of filling food choices for all and a great selection of beer. Eating here with friends is a great way to spend an hour or so and the food won't disappoint.
