Sake House - Bluffton

Great place with delicious food. We sat at the Hibachi barbecue table and were well entertained by our cook. The kids cleaned their plates so you know it was good!

My boyfriend got me into eating sushi on Sunday for lunch and we have been into different places. So far this one is one of my favorites. The food was delicious the service was great and the wait time wasn't bad. We had been over the Hibachi Bar as well and we had a good time watching the guy do his tricks. I definitely recommend this place specially if you are a sushi lover.

The sushi was fantastic! The first photo shows cut beef wrapped around a roll, and the second features the Italian roll, which was made with what I believe was white fish, cream cheese, and was fried and topped with sauce and shrimp. That one was the best of everything we tried! The other sushi rolls were also excellent. Our server was attentive while still giving us our space. The restaurant was clean, and the aesthetic was spot on.

We found ourselves in a bit of a bind on Christmas Day with nowhere else to go, but it ended up being a lovely dinner experience. We sat at the Hibachi table, where we enjoyed the entertaining cooking show. The food was excellent; we had Hibachi filet mignon and shrimp, along with a special roll that was very tasty. Our 5-year-old even enjoyed the beef and shrimp! However, one downside was that they rushed us through the meal, which is why I’m giving it one less star. I was surprised that it only took an hour from when we sat down to when we got up. Additionally, they had only two types of sake available from a list that supposedly had at least a dozen options, and the staff’s English was quite limited.

The service was friendly and quick. The food was served warm and tasted delicious. I enjoyed two sweet potato rolls and would definitely recommend them. I've also had the Hibachi in the past, and it was fantastic as well!
