Do you like cookies and ice cream? Yes..you must come here and get their famous custom made to order cookie ice cream sandwiches. Great stop for a quick delicious treat that will satisfy just about any sweet tooth. Look for the Blue Deer Cookie sign on 321 between Boone and Blowing Rock.

We stop off at this place after talking to one of the neighbors where we rented a house for the week. I am so glad that they told us about this place. The cookies tasted amazing. They were fresh and soft, just like out of the oven. The ice cream was smooth and creamy. The portions of cookie and ice cream is very generous. The price is just right. We will stop by Blue Deer Cookies again before we head back North. Thank you to the neighbor that mentioned this place to us. BTW, you have better golf down here then DE.

The front of the store is what lured me in! So cute! It was cold out, but I had to order their ice cream sandwich. I got vanilla ice cream on chocolate chocolate chip cookies. It was presented to me in a paper wrap with a wooded spoon. DELICIOUS! My family and I ordered lattes and hot chocolate. We weren't especially fond of the drinks, but we may just be used to different types. That's my 2¢ now you decide.
