Le Petit Port - Blaye

Just go for the menu du jour, good home cooked food, superb service and great value. Don’t leave it too late as you’ll not get a table! We had to wait for 15 mins but it was well worth it.

On a 2 day stopover in our Motorhome we both lunched here, and ate evening meals in this super, very busy, and popular with locals, restuarant. The Menu de jour was adventurous and the choice of Carte superb. We were served politely and patiently by the staff who explained what the various unknown items on the menu were, and enjoyed meat and seafood equally well prepared. Starters, and mains were super and the desserts were special.

This bustling roadside restaurant is the Sunday venue for French families, often three generations of them. It is just so authentic, the sort of French experience that brings back a smile for years; wonderful, friendly service, great seafood, affordable local wine from one of the two greatest wine producing areas of the world, for the same price as a carvery pub chain in Bolton!

Très bon restaurant, mais service très (trop) rapide... A peine l'apéritif servi, les plats sont arrivés... Au revoir les olives apéritives ! Sinon, bon accueil. Attention, ne prend pas les tickets resto. Menu enfant à 8,50, soir steak ou nuggets frites,dessert et un verre de boisson

Nous nous sommes arrêtés prendre simplement une bière en après-midi. Nous avons été reçu et servi par une serveuse peu agréable.nous lui avons demandé un renseignement et sa réponse :« je ne suis pas du coin » quand on a cette attitude, il ne faut pas faire ce métier.
