Bidrage med feedbackLarge selection of tasty options on the menu, including 5-6 sandwich specialties. we had the blue cheese steak salad and the ham/sinks/letter sandwich. both were home. great service, beautiful ambiente and plentiful interior and exterior seat. winner for graneagle vacationer and blairsden year rounder.
This is a special place. Beautiful outdoor tables under apple trees and a cute indoor/bar area too. Was so happy to find a place near our annual camp location to escape to for a great home cooked meal. I'm a new salt-oil-sugar-free vegan and can't eat out much anymore. Showed up for brunch, asked if they could do the kale salad I saw on the website, even though it wasn't on the brunch menu and they whipped one up for me with a spring mix (liked it even better than the kale one I came back for later in the week). My non-vegan friends all loved the dishes they tried. Pre-arranged for them to cater my boyfriends birthday at the campsite we were staying at. What a treat! They delivered a meat and a veggie lasagne (the veggie one was made with zucchini instead of noodles and no salt/oil, as requested). Also had whole grain bread with and without the garlic spread and that great kale salad. Then they made a birthday cheesecake that was so divine, at least half of our group said it was the best they had ever had. Everyone wanted seconds. It had a slight airy quality too it that made it the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Vegans and non-vegans were all stuffed and happy. I hope I will be back in the area sooner than later. Nothing in the area compares.
We waited for 55 minutes to get a mediocre sandwich and an okay salad! Yes, they were fairly busy, because it was Father's Day (around 11 am), but not all that busy. No one greeted us so we found a table and sat down. It took a while to get our menus so we quickly ordered while others came in and sat down. After waiting a long time we began to notice that other folks were getting their meals before us. The waitress seemed flustered and nervous. I was somewhat disappointed when my meal finally arrived 55 minutes later. The turkey sandwich was pretty good', but was served with just a skimpy pile of chips (no dip) and two very thin slices of apple.. Really not enough to fill me up. Would like to give a better rating because the location is nice and the place has potential, but that potential is not being fulfilled. We have enjoyed dining experiences in other restaurants that were TWICE as busy they just knew how to deal with it! A little more attention to how the food is presented and better training for the servers might be at hand? Give the Bountiful Gardens a try and see what YOU think!
We had two great salads, salmon tacos, and fried potatoes. All were delicious. We actually arrived just at closing time but they were very generous and stayed to feed us. The food is original and mostly organic. Make sure to check times before going.
After the fabulous Wright This Way Elite Event, we checked out of our amazing villa and headed back into Graeagle to scope out the breakfast options. Our trusty Yelp app told us that Bontaful Gardens had good reviews, was close, and served breakfast. SOLD. There's picnic tables in the lawn leading to the restaurant (that looks like maybe it was converted from a house), a few tables on the patio, and of course, seating inside. We chose to sit outside so we could chat with a couple of other Yelpers (Sarah R and Drew R) who were already on the patio we arrived. **** Mary's were in order (especially after the night before) these were solid, although I typically like mine spicier. The menu includes some different variations on Eggs Benedict I chose the carne asada benedict (english muffin topped with carne asada, eggs, and cilantro hollandaise served with potatoes). The meat was really tender and I loved the creative take. Although, I think it was a bit of a stretch to deem the sauce as hollandaise The BF ordered a basic breakfast bacon, eggs, toast, and potatoes. It sounds like a lot, but it was a pretty small serving and nothing special. The hot sauce that they have on hand is made locally. It's not too hot, but has really great flavor. We've already been searching around Reno for it to add to our ridiculous collection of hot sauces. Prices are kind of high, but they can probably get away with it since it's such a small town and there aren't a lot of options. Overall, a solid choice for breakfast/brunch.
