5 Spice Asian Take-out - Blaine

Amazing food! One of my favorite Chinese places in the north metro. My go-tos are the fried potstickers, egg rolls, beef lo mein, and sesame chicken. Ill usually order an additional stir fry meat dish as Im craving that day. Never had a bad experience!

Egg rolls and wontons are amazing, our sweet and sour pork and Mongolian beef were pretty Meh, the pork and beef both cooked to shoe leather.

Tried for the first time and found out it will be the last time. Very disappointed with the experience. Ordered sesame chicken. Found it to be a small portion for the high cost, did not have any spice despite requesting medium, no vegetables included, plain white rice, very artificial/too sweet sauce, and overall very poor quality food. There are much better options for Asian takeout food in the twin cities. I would recommend skipping this one.

The Shrimp Curry Fried Rice was awful. I ordered the highest amount of spiciness and there was very little flavor. Rice was extremely dry. Most fried rice Ive ordered from other places have other ingredients besides the rice, i.e. egg, etc... This had some shrimp and onion slices but, otherwise, was just dry rice. Was also expensive for the portion size.

I usually love 5Spice and have had great food in the past .Their eggrolls are my absolute favorite eggrolls.This time I ordered just eggrolls . They were really dry and had not much filling or flavor . Took one bite and the entire outside just crumbled off .Not good . I really hope this isnt the direction theyre heading and it was just a bad evening. Disappointing .
