Wonderful old pub just a real shame the the publican has no personality. Been twice with the first time just getting a smart arsed comment when we asked if he was open. Took some friends in recently, all of us saying a friendly hello as we walked in. The bar lady replied nicely, but all we got from the publican was a scowl.
