The Stop Coffee House and Gathering Place

Great coffee stop. True espresso coffee made by someone who knew what they were doing. Will stop again on my way back to Calgary.

It's a great small town stop. Has that rustic feel and great food! Definitely a stop you should make while travelling through Black Diamond.

Black Diamond is a lovely country drive from Calgary. There is a great art gallery, some funky little shops to poke around, a wonderful garden cenre called Vale's and when we are there we always drop by The Stop for a cuppa and baked goods, or for lunch. Friendly staff and never disappointed.

We stopped by The Stop for a real coffee, and weren't disappointed. This large coffee shop has all the things for great times, a piano, a huge patio, etc. Even though it wasn't very busy, there was a line up for the two washrooms as they take only one person at a time. The decor is eclectic, and some of the armchairs seemed a bit worn. The service was friendly, and our coffees were very good, and overall still worth "The Stop".

Speciality coffee, breakfast, soup, sandwiches, snack bars and pastry. Muffins. Nice patio place to stop for coffee. The Stop also has musical nights in the summer.
