The food was not really fresh, canned peppers and asparagus, and the sea food was also not fresh quality. The staff was also not really friendly. In comparison to other local restaurants, the prices are way higher. The dessert (flan) was flakey and the caramel had bits floating around in it. If you are not a local, avoid this place…
It is a bit hard to reach and when we arrived there the kitchen was closed (not all online opening hours are accurate and dinner time starts from 8-9pm). However the lady at the bar was very helpful and made some suggestions. We ended up having a great time with fresh crab and wine
Located in a corner or a small square in s residential area 5 min walk from the old town it does not seem like a place to go. But surely the locals know it. Outside people are having their aperitif as every night and children are playing around. No sign of fresh seafood. Entering the you enter a new world...or more correct 'the old world '. It 's a bar, a seafood bar, a whiskey museum....and a restaurant. Staff speak 5% English, but are 110% friendly. We did not do their speciality iberico and aspargues platter and mized shellfish on fire but ate us through Razor clams, red gambas, small coast shrimps, clams and mussels in red pepper sauce. Accompanied by the recommended white Alharinho, which we saw on 4 out of 5 tables. We are fans!
It's not the first time we've come and it's always good. quality product, well cooked and without unnecessary dressings. eat and know what you're eating. He gave me time to take a picture of the besugo that was spectacular, almost to suck the source. from the entrance of a few percebes as it is generally said rigid and with a lot of flavor, the asparagus was undone in the mouth. We accompanied it with clams to the skillet (large and very good) and some scalp on the plate that were going to remove the hat. I did not eat dessert, but if my companions, a classic flan, made at home (I had a painting. pure envy)
