Copper Top Bbq - Big Pine

Admittedly, the photo of the tri tip sanwhich isn't all that to look at. However... the FLAVOR was outstanding! This joint was rocking, and I can see why. Great service, and although it was very crowded, it didn't take long to get our orders.

It was good. And the mac and cheese was great. We had the single platter with tri tip, pulled pork, pork ribs and sausage. Smelled delicious. The tri tip was awesome. Husband enjoyed the pork.

Meh. Pulled pork was very tender but lacked flavor… zero flavor without bbq sauce. Mac n cheese was so soft that the noodles dissolve as soon as they hit your tongue which I did not care for. Outdoor seating only; great view of mountains. Bean bag game available to play under the trees.

If you seek the absolute best (seriously! This is it! I am a connoisseur of Bar-B-Que. I'm always looking for the best wherever I go. Their pulled pork is PERFECT! I had the sampler plate that came with Beef and Pork ribs. The pork ribs were outstanding. The dry rub is so good that BbQ sauce isn't needed or even desired (and I DO love a good sauce . Here's the kicker, I normally am not impressed by beef ribs. Most are stringy and just not appealing. The beef ribs fell off the bone like pork. If you're anywhere near Big Pine, plan a stop. They open at 11:00 and the line forms about 15 minutes before. The service is fast. There is even a meat vending machine if you can't wait.

Most delicious BBQ I have ever had!!!!! Absolutely could not believe the quality at this out of the way, small town place. Meat was so tender and flavorful. I wish i could go bak.
