The best cheese steak, chicken sandwich and gyro in the DMV. I ordered si much food because I saw all of my favorites and ended up eating them all in one sitting because they were so good. I highly recommend trying this diner, you won't be disappointed

They definitely need to take that “The Best Philly Cheesesteak “ Sign Down. Not even close . That’s all I’ve tried at this establishment ..but was disappointed in the steak and cheese .

Every city should have a Peter’s Carryout (but only Bethesda does . Let's start with Ned and his family — the kindest folks you’ll meet. It doesn’t matter if it’s been a week or a year since you last saw them — they always remember you and greet you by name. (They'll remember your order, too. Get the cheesesteak. Get the gyro sub. Get the cheeseburger sub. Ask Ned to throw gryo on a Greek salad. Get Old Bay on your fries. (ALWAYS get Old Bay on your fries. And come back next week. Your stool at the counter will be waiting.

I heard so much about this place from friends, I had to try it. As soon as I walked in, I knew I was going have a great meal, the atmosphere is total Americana you sit at the counter and watch them prepare your food on a small griddle which I personally love, the staff were very friendly and they interacted with the customers on a personal level they make you feel like you came to your buddy’s outdoor BBQ and everyone was joking around and having fun). You can tell the staff are doing what they love. That being said, I had the steak and cheese with fries…..it was huge and delicious. Definitely coming back to try the other items on the menu.

Great experience, great food, great service, awesome Atmosphere! I will not play pickleball haha!
