OMG this food is some of the consistently tasty soul food in Bessemer or Birmingham. This plate is some of the best of everything I've ever tasted. The food is hot, which is important to me. The staff is always professional. And the place is always clean.

I travel over thirty minutes from Hoover to get this delicious food! It's hard for me to find good soul food here in Birmingham, believe it or not. I found this place several years ago and their food is just as good always. I get the oxtails, maybe too much fat for some, but for me, I LOVE it. That's where all the flavor is! My husband gets the baked chicken. Both are so delicious! I would give this place more stars if I could. It's my go to soul food spot!

This place has the most awesome food! The seasoning is to a perfection! I was there about 2:30 this afternoon. The gentleman serving the food was so patient and respectful. He answered all of my questions. This is the best soul food! It was just like Grandmas cooking! I loved it!
