Magsut - Bern

The vibes are a little confused, the crowd is a little weird. It's a bar in one part with a fumoir (smoking area) and so on and then the other parts are restaurant but it's not very pretty. I guess it's for gangs of friends but the design is a bit stale.

After exploring the old city of Bern, and since it's Sunday, some of the restaurants/cafes were closed. Luckily my wife I stumbled upon this Italian restaurant not far from tram stop, and went in straight away from Bern's freezing night. Ordered the pizza and beer, the pizza is made from scratch, taste good, but not a menu that will make you jump out of the chair

We went there for dinner looking for a simple meal after a physical day. The food is basic Italian and done well. The service was good as we got through language differences. Both our meals were what we were looking for and the beer suggestion was great. Would go again.

We stopped here for ice creams in mid-afternoon. I had a bananasplit and the wife had a sorbet with soft drinks.£30 bill so typical Swiss expensive!

We ordered the 4 stagioni pizza, the country cuts, and the Zinfandel Rose wine... it was the best meal ever... split between 3 people. we sat outside and a guy sat right in front of us and played music. we are Americans so the waiter taught us how to properly pronounce the name of our food. the country cuts were the best fries i've ever had.. perfect crunch on the outside.. tasted like it had old bay seasoning on it. the Rose Zinfandel wine.. you should definitely order 2 of each thing... it's just that good.. tasted better than the 4 stagioni pizza we ordered in Italy.
