Sus muebles han conocido tiempos mejores, al igual que su estado general, pero conserva su estilo alemán, algo muy escaso en medio de tantos lugares vietnamitas, italianos, mexicanos, turcos, indios, pakistaníes... (todas mejores cocina que la alemana, claro, que con ese clima no puede pedírsele a los alemanes gran tradición culinaria). La comida es de buena calidad y mejor precio y el brunch es abundantísimo y llamativamente barato. Y está en una zona de Kreuzberg que, a pesar de la guerra, conserva mucho la linda edificación antigua con jardines al frente.

Wir mögen die rustikale fränkische Küche gern und sind deshalb im Wirtshaus Hasenheide eingekehrt. Man sitzt bei gutem Wetter schön draußen vorm Lokal. Wir haben uns für den "Frankenschmaus: knusprige Schäufele mit Sauerkraut, Dunkelbiersauce und Kartoffelknödel" - dazu ein süffiges Zirndorfer Kellerbier naturtrüb im Steinkrug sowie für das Bauernomelette entschieden. Das Bauernomelette war lecker. Das Schäufele hingegen bestand zu fast der Hälfte nur aus Fett und war leider gar nicht knusprig.Der Service war ganz OK.Für das Bauernfrühstück würden wir 4 Sterne geben, für das Schäufele geben wir 2 Sterne - also Gesamwertung 3 Sterne.
