Amira - Berlin

The restaurant is situated near Hermannplatz which is one of Berlin centers of activities. The place is quite nice and the people there are very nice. I have tried Mousaka and Koshri, the Mousaka was really tasty and hot and the portion was big, but the koshri was normal according to Egyptian standards :). The prices are mid/range, as I remember, the mousaka was for 8 Euros which is more than the average course in Berlin (5 Euros). Still, it is a very worthy experience.

Been there a couple of times and the food and service is superb ! The atmosphere and the freshness of the food is worth the ride.their menu lists a variety of Mediterranean specialties. This restaurant is a jewel among all the fast-food places in Neukoelln.

The food there is really good and the mood of the place is oriental and the service is good too, i recommend it

The food here was extremely disappointing, especially for the price which isn't cheap - couldn't eat more than a few bites. The texture of the meat was mushy and it smelled and tasted far from fresh. Same for the hummus, which had way too much lemon in it (I guess to conserve it and hide the fact that it wasn't freshly made). Worst of all the rice - the one thing you'd expect most places to get right. In fact it had a lot of wheat vermicelli in it (not mentioned on the menu), meaning with my gluten allergy I could not even touch the rice.

Must :) real Egyptian taste. service friendly. All foods were so delicious :) worth it and highly recommend
