Beresfield Bowling Club

We all received poor treatment at The Recipe from the start. It doesn't matter how busy a place is, everyone should be treated with respect, whether they are a member or not. On my last visit, I was told that my 15-year-old should leave by 9:30. However, it was now 9:45 and children without parents were still running around. They didn't leave until after 10:15 and I never received an apology. The only good part of the night was the band, who were excellent. Despite filing a complaint on Facebook, neither myself nor my friend received a response. This lack of courtesy is absolutely shameful.

I had dinner at this restaurant on Sunday night. The spring rolls were recommended, but I found them to be very disappointing. I will go back to the Lorn Bowling Club for spring rolls instead. The pizza was also disappointing, with a thin, leathery base and sloppy toppings. Overall, the meal was very poor. The only redeeming qualities were the chips and the cleanliness of the restaurant. It might be okay if you just want a beer or to play the pokies. However, I will not be returning until they improve their food quality.

I was very impressed with the service and the food at this restaurant. The cured prawns were delicious. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.

The meal, if you could call it, was an absolute scandal. try to find the bark in a plate that was overwhelmed to be crushed in a sauce from a can, which was not even thickened the last straw. I have. bad meals tolerated from there to keep the woman happy so she could visit the ruffles, but after the last time never again. I just hope the members of the club board read these reviews and at least look at the future of this catererer. I could have cooked in this restaurant instead of the slop that was clogged.

Travelled an hour to watch my son-in-law’s band. Was sitting at a table with my daughter and 12 week old grandson when at 9pm security rudely told us we had to leave because baby was under 18. When we explained that the baby was band...members son and my daughter was the driver for the night we were very rudely told it did not matter and that my daughter and baby were to leave the premises. As my daughter would have had to travel 50 minutes home and then come back to pick up other half we sat with a baby in the car for 2 hours till band finished. I could understand if it was an older child or if we were in the bar area but we weren’t and it’s not like a 12 week old baby is going to drink or gamble. I personally will never set foot on the premises again and will be telling all my friends how rude this club was
