Punkah House - Bengaluru

The ambience reminds me of British-style clubs in Kolkata. Had some amazing savoury and sweet (fusion) plates, though I wish the menu was slightly broader.

Punkah house is now delivering and lovely to have a seperate delivery menu. First of all, when you receive the package.. you can see the Chef's, Pakers's and the rider's temperature. Also, the packet is completely sealed and the quality is assured. They also enlist the safety procedures taken to ensure the quality and safety.<br/ <br/ The Yangoon Noodles with Panner is an absolute treat. With mild coconut flavour and the slight red chilli based sauce, the smooth flat noodles go very well with this. The Panner with it has amazing herbs tossed and toasted with it, it was smooth and perfect.<br/ <br/ Coconut sticky rice is not new, but ghee roasted vegetables with it is something new. One can full with a portion of this and a dessert. The vegetables roasted in ghee gives an amazing taste. The gravy had a good spice but reduced it's effect because of the ghee.<br/ <br/ Flourless Chocolate Cake Bar is a perfect way to end a meal.

I ordered today’s lunch from Punkah house. The order came on time. The food packaging was done with safety measures along with the temperature of the chef who prepared the food and the delivery man body temperature. Great measures taken for safety for customers during pandemic time. I had spices noodles with Burmese coconut curry and chicken it was amazing. I also had sticky coconut rice with pulled jackfruit mangalorean style it was so tasty. For dessert it was flourless cake. I also has side of salsa sourcream and papad. Just love the food will try other items fr menu. If you are ordered of cooking and want to order food must try this place.

We came in for a weekend lunch. Punkah House was quite empty (all the crowd heads to the restaurant below without realising how great Punkah House really is). The food we ordered was delicious. The waiter did bungle up our order, but it was rectified and we were served the right food eventually. It has a relaxed atmosphere, slightly above average prices, excellent service quality. Loved it; this will now be my usual! Keep up the great work!

Quality of food is superb. Good variety of non vegetarian section and almost every dish was phenomenal. <br/ Main course portioning was great.<br/ <br/ From the lamb chops, the chilli beef with appam to everything. <br/ The gin cocktails were loved and after a while a place had a good whiskey based cocktails.<br/ Genuinely enjoyed it and definitely worth multiple visits.
