Palomino - Bellevue

I cannot believe it. The restaurant confirmed our reservation and then ended up closing. We only found out 8 hours before our birthday party. If they were closed, they shouldn't have accepted reservations in the first place. I'm not sure who is to blame, Open Table or Palomino, but it was a terrible situation regardless.

After we had set ourselves, we were ignored for 15 minutes, placed in our drinks and food orders, my glass of champagne water and the glass of wine of my friend appeared 20 minutes later, and then the food came 5 minutes later. My friend pointed out that someone who resembled a waiter (male, black button down and maroon silk tie), met a juul at the back of the terrace before going to the restaurant. I was pretty surprised because I heard good things about this place. Probably not come back.

The service was fantastic and the food was delicious.

Service was great. Our server was personable and efficient and deserves the 5 stars. Unfortunately the Food was meh..

It was my first time at the Palomino. I had made reservations for 8 online. We arrived for our 7:00pm reservation at 7pm exactly. The hostess checked us in and then proceeded to let us know they still were setting the table. On a normal Friday night at a busy restaurant I would been ok with this except for the fact the restaurant was dead. I thought the menu was underwhelming with very few choices and the food itself was “ok” at best. Slightly disappointed to say the least. Probably won’t go back.
