Great service, absolutely luxuriant cake! really nice drinks, definitely recommend the banoffeeepie! came before fireworks, as other places were quite full and definitely coming back in the future. highly recommended

Really friendly staff relaxing place to have a chat and drink. Scone with cream and jam was very nice along with a good pot of Yorkshire Tea!

Called in today for an Ice Cream, lady serving asked us if we were sitting in to which we replied we just wanted Ice Cream, she was then very rude and told us we would have to wait as she was short staffed (not our fault) she disappeared behind the blind and said they just want Ice Cream, they can wait so rude and unnecessary, we waited some time but she continued to say to the other girl that she couldn 't cope. so we left without out Ice cream! Absolutely atrocious service!

Went in today and ordered 1 child meal box, cheese and tomato toasty, a tuna toasty and a pot of teaNo one else at this time was in. We were short of time as we had to catch a train later. 20 minutes later we had to ask for the 2 toasty meals to be put in a takeaway box as we had to leave. Another family who came in 10 minutes after us had their chips brought before we had ours. When we opened our takeaway boxes the cheese and tomato toasty had turned into cheese and ham not good for a non ham eater. Poor service, poor execution of order and indifferent quality results in a generous 1 star rating.

Great little place. Something different for Bedale. The grandchildren loved their ice-cream and waffles. Friendly helpful staff and nothing was too much trouble.
