Bidrage med feedbackWould of gave them 5 stars for the food but the stuffed mushrooms were just ok.(I'm a stuffed mushroom guy) EVERYTHING else I ate was VERY GOOD. Waiter incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Will definitely recommend and go again. PS Honey coated Calamari.. INCREDIBLE.. Nuff said....
Margarita was well made, salsa tasty, chips needed a little salt, enchiladas solid, fajitas great
We are fans of the original location at 830 Broadway and were concerned that the food wouldn’t be as good at the second location. But after visiting with friends for my husband’s birthday, our concerns were removed. Excellent food, cool ambience. Service isn’t super fast, but it IS fun and courteous. We will definitely be returning.
First of all, the hostess tried to seat our party of 3 at a table that was so squeezed into a space between 2 rectangle tables that you literally couldn't pull 2 of the chairs out to sit down. We would have been smashed up against other diners who would not be able to get out of their seats. While 2 of our party of 3 were looking for a place to park, I went in to secure our reservation and told the hostess this table would never work as my husband would never be able to sit down. Luckily, a booth was opening up and she switched us to the booth although the benches were a bit too far from the table but it was better than sitting like a sardine in a can. Secondly, it took 1 appetizer that we were sharing over 40 minutes to arrive and it was luke warm. Our server offered to buy us another round of drinks which we greatly accepted. I do not blame our server, this issue lies with the kitchen. Speaking of drinks, it was a bit confusing as they listed many types of tequilas and the extra cost to have them in a margarita yet they only showed a house margarita on the drink menu. When I asked the server if there were other flavors he did indeed rattle off at least 6 or more flavors. Why isn't this on the menu so the diner can make a decision prior to the server asking? Thirdly, my steak quesadilla was very tasty but luke warm. It was very good and huge (most of it went home with me) but this luke warm food seems to be a common issue. We happened to know some other diners there and they said they sent their dinners back because they were cold. In closing I will say that I still enjoyed my evening there and have high hopes things will improve. I have been to the other El Aguila Dorado and had excellent tacos and was hoping for the same quality at this new location The atmosphere is very nice and it's what Bayonne needs, a new and updated restaurant that offers a nice variety of food with a touch of class.
Had a great meal. Server friendly and accommodating. Recommend
