Café Da Vinci -  Bayfield,

Out to dinner with our granddaughter. The owner and staff were very friendly and the food was good. They had live entertainment which was enjoyable and a exceptionally singer and guitar player.

Dropped into this restaurant for the first time on a recent visit to Bayfield. We were quite impressed!We were the first customers for the day and were offered either outdoor or inside seating by the very pleasant hostess . While we chose to stay inside, most of the subsequent customers headed for the patio situated off the back of the restaurant.The food was prepared well by the restaurant's young chef, especially the Jerk Calamari appetizer, and we took the opportunity to let him know personally. One highlight was the delicious unsweetened iced tea that was freshly made and tasted perfect, with no bitterness. This was definitely not your typical Nestea out of a can.I would strongly recommend checking this restaurant out if you are in the area. I know that we will.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Da Vinci Italian restaurant in Bayfield! Our cabernet sauvignon, our starters of minestrone soup and Thai chicken bites, our mains of pasta, Caesar salad and garlic bread were all perfectly prepared and delicious. We skipped dessert because our main courses were large and very satisfying. The restaurant offers comfortable indoor seating as well as outdoor tables in the front facing Main Street and in the back in their quiet, peaceful garden. Our server was friendly and the service was exceptional. The diverse menu offers many choices with low prices compared to other Bayfield restaurants. The ownership of the restaurant is apparently changing hands next season which might explain recent Trip Advisor complaints concerning needed repairs in the restrooms, etc. Perhaps the new owner is planning some renovations when he or she takes over. We are sad to see the very kind and dedicated longtime owner go but our hope is that Da Vinci's excellent menu and talented dinner chefs and friendly staff will still be there when we return. Well done!

Thai Chicken starter & Minestrone soup then Lasagne and Spaghetti & Meatballs both w/Caesar Salads & garlic bread. Food was tasty, fresh, plenty, on temp, quick and easy. Decor and Bathrooms need help! Staff friendly and smart!

We returned to Da Vinci's after discovering it this Fall. We made a reservation on a Thursday but it was quite empty when we arrived at 6:00pm. Our waitress/greeter was fantastic. She happily ran the front of the house while the restaurant continued to seat more customers. Our food and drinks took a little bit of time to get to our table, but she kept things moving at a good pace. The food was excellent. Both the Caesar salad and warm spinach salad (it's hardy enough to eat as a meal) were delicious. My wife and son both had spaghetti and meatballs, and I had the salmon fettuccini special. We all enjoyed our meals and left quite satisfied. We will definitely stop here again in the future.
