Bogart's Steakhouse - Bay Saint Louis

Extremely poor customer service. My wife and I went to sit at the bar which had all seats open and were asked to make a reservation for later. No bar seats were marked reserved, and when asking for the time the reserved parties were showing up atthe bar (so we could possibly be finished by that time), the hostess was rude and even refused to check. We were dressed verywell and polite in nature, so not sure why the hostess acted in such a way. We left. Advise if you are looking for a nicerestaurant in one of the casinos on the coast to set your expectations low for Bogart 's Steakhouse.

Everything was excellent. The scallops and porkbelly appetizer, the lobster bisque, the filets, the lobster tail, the shrimp, the creme brulee, and our sever William. All while watching a beautiful sunset over the bay.

The food was truly outstanding. We started with the crab cakes and oysters, and then enjoyed filet mignons topped with crab meat. We were completely impressed. Gavin, the bartender, was very attentive and crafted the best drinks. We'll definitely be returning!

I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening and had to wait an hour and a half for our meal. Unfortunately, during that time, we didn't receive a single drink refill. The food was just average, and the service left much to be desired. When we asked to speak to the manager, he didn't seem to be concerned about our experience. As a result, we’ve decided to remove Bogart's from our list of dining options in BSL.

I ordered the ribeye steak with a baked potato, while my husband chose the lamb with mac and cheese. Unfortunately, the steak was bland and lacked any seasoning—there wasn't even salt or pepper. The potato was hard and cold, and the butter wouldn't melt. As for the lamb, it was so tough that I couldn't even cut it, and the mac and cheese tasted like it had come straight from the microwave. I couldn't eat my meal at all! To add to our disappointment, the manager only offered a free glass of wine or dessert, but there was no offer to remake our meals or provide something else. After spending $150 for a meal we couldn't eat, we left feeling hungry and disheartened. If you’re in the area and looking for a nice restaurant, I recommend looking elsewhere because this place did not meet our expectations!
