Chequers Inn - Battle

Had a meal with my wife last Saturday and we were treated like a license. the personal was so friendly and the food should die in a warm cozy environment with a great ambiente. highly recommended

I had a wonderful birthday meal with 25 guests in the private back room. Everyone was served at the same time, and the vegan and vegetarian dishes were exceptionally well-prepared. The entire staff was very patient with us, even when we often blocked the corridor to the kitchen. They also surprised the three birthday girls with special desserts. Additionally, they accommodated our request to pay separately. Thank you for making our night so special!

We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! The rooms are quite unique, and the larger room is significantly more beautiful than the standard one. While the shower in the smaller rooms is a bit cramped, it is still adequate. Additionally, they provide tea and coffee along with a small fan. I don't think the double window in the small room can be opened, which could be an issue in the summer! However, the breakfast was excellent and perfectly satisfactory. The staff was incredibly helpful and fantastic!

Charming old pub with accommodation. While some things have changed since the 1950s, the essence remains. They offer a nice selection of local dishes and ample seating both indoors and outdoors. The staff are friendly, and the menu looks promising.
