I took my girlfriend there last night 11/6/2023 between 6 pm and 730 pm ish for her birthday dinner. We got seated very quickly as it was very dead in there, got a server to get us a drink order in and start the dinner ordering process. We placed our order with him we got a starter soup first the Chilli was luke warm at best and her broccoli soup was the same, I said something to our server and he said he would tell the kitchen staff about it , kinda too late now that I ate it before you got back he comes back with our dinners and said I told the kitchen to make sure the soup is hotter next time and he replies for your troubles and I quote I through in an extra piece of shrimp for you. the shrimp was small I got the chicken and shrimp dinner and that was also luke warm at best, the mac and cheese was also luke warm at best, wow is all I'm thinking, semi hot food and what i thought was an upscale restaurant in battle creek. My girlfriend got the salmon dinner and it was also luke warm at best. He never came back to ask us about our dinners and at that point what would it actually do ? Each meal was over twenty bucks and under twenty five bucks and the portions were small for the price. This place has gone down hill over the years. We last ate here about a year ago and it was the same thing, so It hasn't changed at all and explains the mixed reviews this place has and how slow it is. It's really to bad as this place has so much potential. We won't be back anytime soon or ever.

Wonderful! Many new items on the menu, very nice interior upgrades. First time here since COVID 19 and so excited it will remain one of my favorites and a beautiful place to escape and relax. Update 11/10/23 Excellent t food, with the French Onion.soup for.y friend and Spinach Salad for me. Spectacular! Great easy paced location for a fairly long catch up visit! Food: 5
