Trattoria Pizzeria 'su Pasiu - BARUMINI

First impression wasn’t great as we were the only people having lunch at 13.00. The menu was limited to a set “ tourist menu” but we did have the option of only selecting one course. The red wine risotto was so good as was the pasta with pancetta and mushrooms. Quite the pleasant surprise and I’m glad we ate here.

Avoid at all cost. Even if there are few lunch options after the Barumini visit, we advise going elsewhere. We came here for lunch with our kids after a morning tour at Barumini. First, the only offering was a set menu “tourist”, which requires 3 courses for adults. Okay. Not ideal but this was one of the only options in town. It only goes downhill from from here. Majority of the dishes we got were not what was on the menu (and thus, what we ordered). We ordered Fregula with mussels; Instead got fregula with tonnato. Instead of the “Gnocchi” we ordered, we got a fairly common dried Sardinian pasta, mallorreddus. I don’t even know what they served instead of the veggie risotto. Second, two of the kids did not get their food at all. Third, we were there for 1.5 hours and the second course for everyone else had not come out yet. We ended up boxing everything that had to come out to go. There was no apology from the restaurant or any explanation for why what we order was not what we got and why the long delay for the food. Only conclusion I can draw is the restaurant draws patrons from the tourist attraction (there were a few more tables filled with folks from our tour) so they have no incentive to treat their customers with any respect. The entire experience was downright dishonest and exasperating.

Great lunch in this very nice village and restaurant. very nice lunch and excellent foods at good price .

Charmante terrasse dans une cour. Tout était très bon et de la nourriture fraîche. choix du menu (20 euros ! . nous avons pris seulement deux plats et des desserts et ils adaptent le prix! Nous étions excellents, l'un des rares restaurants où je reviendrai avec d'autres amis si je reviens dans cette région. le serveur était aussi haut;
