Francesca's Famiglia - Barrington

Located halfway between Kenosha, WI and Chicago, we discovered a hidden gem in Barrington, IL. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including seafood, chicken, and sausage, all of which were delicious. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our dining experience at this restaurant.

The service and food were excellent overall. We had a wonderful time celebrating a 60th birthday with our family.

Immediate seating at reservation time. Table settings attractive. Server was attentive but not hovering. I had the spaghetti and my partner had the chicken Arrosto. Both were delicious and hot on arrival. We had a lovely table next to the window but as the evening progressed it became very loud. Prices were moderate. Small increase since our last visit will definitely return.

We have been loyal fans of Francesca's for years, but yesterday's meal and menu options were not as impressive as usual. The portions also seemed smaller than what we have received in the past.
