We had a great breakfast yesterday with fantastic food and fantastic service! Very recommended! Great atmosphere, super fast and delicious! They have expanded their restaurant and the new room looks fantastic!! Absolutely a must try! We had Spicy Hash, The DSD eggs Benny (Bacon grilled cheese underneath! , Bangers 'n' Hash and a western omelet!

Hey, Google. Best breakfast with me. And my life has been changed!! Dunlop Street Dîner in Barrie is an oasis of good food and great service on the bleak road between Toronto and North Bay. Housed in a historic building, the brick walls and wooden floors are very welcoming and warm, with historical pictures and ironwork throughout the building. The extensive menu has everything from traditional to raised, plated and perfectly cooked. Lori, the waitress told me I have to order the hashbrowns with my eggs, all done with an increased eyebrow of trust me, and oh boy, the best I had. A mixture of potatoes of all sizes, they were fried and salted to perfection, not over or undercooked. The experience has been made with homemade jam, fresh, pressed orange juice and a real coffee bar serving coffee for lattes. This place has been a hit for a while, so we decided today that it was finally time to go. DELICIOUS. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and my daughter had the pancakes with berries. Both were so delicious, nicely plated and happy served. No wonder this is the sister restaurant of Donaleighs... food quality suitable. Superb!

This is perhaps the best breakfast place in Barrie. You have an extensive list of very creative Benedictines. I recommend the phylo brie Benedict! They also have a wide range of daily soups. I had a Cheddar beer and Jalapeno soup, which was a pleasant addition to the meal.

First time in Dunlop Street Diner and what an AMAZING experience it was. The menu choices, the atmosphere, the options and the presentation are second to none. As a person living with Celiac, i was able to safely enjoy a GF chocolate chip pancake and the Huevos Rancheros with Cherizo. Everything was delicious and the staff, well you would be hard pressed to find better service anywhere in any restaurant. First time but definitely not my last time. So highly recommended!!
