Best kept secret in Cooks Forest! Great food, outstanding service, great atmosphere.

My husband and I spent the 4th of July weekend here for our 2 year anniversary and 1 year anniversary of visiting Cook Forest. In 2023 Memorial Day weekend, we stayed in one of the bnb cabins nearby. We walked down to The Clairion River Lodge to eat dinner, have some drinks, and listen to the live music. Clarion River Lodge is nestled in the woods on a hill. I fell in love then and more so today. Here we are, 2024, 4th of July weekend, we booked one of the rooms at Calrion River Lodge and paid the extra $200 for 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, and a bottle of champagne which was well worth the money. Our room was a king bed suite with a private deck. Each room has its own theme and a homey feel to them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner (a very nice guy) was there with his family. I can say my husband and I will be back every year. I don't have a negative thing to say about the Clarion River Lodge, only a suggestion, which could already be in the works, but the beds need to be updated, otherwise it was a great experience. Thank you for making our weekend great.

Great atmosphere on the patio. Meals are always top notch.

Food, drinks and service were great! Beautiful location along the Clarion river. Didn't stay. Drove up for a relaxing Saturday afternoon.
