We were blown away by the friendly service delicious home cooked food its a must stop destination dining indoor or the outdoors eating area overlooking the beautiful Lake Bonney great coffee licenced we will be back

The staff at this restaurant are extremely kind, the food is very fresh, the milkshakes are fantastic, and they were immediately accommodating to my gluten-free dietary requirements due to my coeliac disease.

The staff is very friendly and provides prompt service. All meals are cooked to perfection, offering great value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant.

BLUEBIRD CAFE, BARMERA S.A.. I requested a meal which was not on the menu and the cooks were happy to do so. The meal was sensational. Huge, fresh, prawns from Qld. (biggest I've eaten for a LONG time even in city restaurants), and, a lovely pasta cream sauce with garlic. Staff were very casual and attentive to customers who didn't mind waiting their turn in the queue. All food is cooked on site. Sitting outside under the gum trees looking out on the glistening Lake Bonney was a trea!.

The battered fish burger with tartare sauce is very tasty. It only has fish lettuce inside a slightly toasted bun, so added tomato, beetroot avocado to add more to the flavour. A small bucket of chips is enough for one person.
