Bardhaman Science Centre - Barddhamān

Nice place you will really enjoy it. And must try all the free activities and enjoy the magic of science.

Bardhaman Science centre is located at Golapbag, Burdwan. Front area is enough wide.Parking facilities are available there. Students can get amazing experience by visiting this centre. But many science equipments and events are not working properly.The authorities should be careful about this..Entry fee of kids, teenagers should be free.Bathroom and toilet facilities are available there.

The Science Centre is very interesting, informative, loaded with full of knowledge and facts along with fun activities...The most interesting and spooky is the Bhool Bhulaiya in the first floor, with a mysterical long maze, seeing infinite number of paths on all sides, making you feel literally dizzy until you reach its end...The 3D show is also amazing, which shows about dinosaurs...In the ground floor, the rail-track like puzzle which shows the effect of kinetic energy along with some aquariums, with different eye-catching species of fishes belonging to different regions of the world is quite informative....One inspiring room showing the progress and development of our country in 75 years is really interesting and motivating, starting from the very first historical evidence of India till the present day...In the centre's exterior, there are nice surroundings, such as the T-Rex model, busts of famous scientists, an area for picnicking and a a model of a tap from which the source of water falling is invisible! This is caused because of an acrylic tube which supplies the water, and it is aligned with the water's flow by making the tube transparent in such a way that it becomes invisible....A must-visit place in Barddhaman!

It's a fine science center for children's to visit in Barddhaman. You can do different science related activities here. The 3D show is a must watch. It looks beautiful and is well maintained. There's also a small park inside. You can come here to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
