Outback Steakhouse - Barboursville

Got the sirloin and coconut shrimp meal. Shrimp was delicious.the sirloin was closer to rare than medium rare, but I'm a savage, so I can deal with it. The problem was the overwhelming amount of salt they put on it. It's all I could taste. I maybe ate 2 ounces of an 8 ounce steak and left the rest on the plate. Didn't put it in a to go bag to take home for the dogs, because it was so salty, I just left it on the plate with the macaroni. Oh yeah, the macaroni. The macaroni had similar issues as far as spices. Not sure what spices they put in it, but obviously they don't taste their own food. Disgusting. One bite. And I regret ever taking that one. The staff was wonderful, no complaints there. But whoever is cooking the food....there could be a bit more effort put in. Not worth the money spent.

Wonderful food and wonderful service . Chris made sure everything was taken care of and was very friendly.

Chris was an extremely great server. Never had to ask for anything the food was great.
