Bidrage med feedbackThere is not just one vegan stall here but several. There are two stalls marked jay here where you can get a full meal. I ate twice at the one closest to the entrance, but there is a second one a little further in. The second one is on the right side if you coming from the main entrance. The food here was cheap (40 to 60 baht depending on what you get . The lady is nice, and the food is delicious. She lets you know what is or isn't spicey if you are concerned about that (give the spicey to me! The two food stalls with hot meals are definitely not open on the weekend, but I went anyway and still got food! If you examine what's on offer, you will find other vegan snacks and treats around the inside of the food center as well as outside on the street. I found these but I think there are even more.: 1. deep fried bananas, sweet potatoes, taro, pumpkin (lady said the batter does not have eggs or milk ect and is jay 2. many types of cut fruits 3. smoothies with cow milk (can probably convince them to veganize but they might use the same blender that still has cow milk residue 4. grilled sweet potatoes, corn, bananas 5. coffee carts where you can bring your own plant milk and they will make a latte for you 6. dessert stall that has items such as taro+coconut milk, and other things I did not identify There are more possibilities but it would be best to go with a native speaker who understands veganism to fully investigate the others carts and stalls. Also, be prepared with your own to-go cups and bowls as single use plastic is widely used.
There are not just one, but several vegan food stalls here. Two of them offer complete meals. I dined at the first stall by the entrance twice, but there is a second one a bit further down. The second stall is located on the right side if you enter from the main entrance. Eating here is affordable, with prices ranging from 40 to 60 baht depending on your choices. The setting is beautiful and the food is delicious. They are happy to accommodate your spice preference. The hot meal stalls are usually closed on weekends, but I still managed to get food when I visited. In addition to the hot meals, you can find vegan snacks and tasty treats inside and outside the food center. Some of the options include deep-fried bananas, sweet potatoes, taro, and pumpkin (all vegan-friendly). They also have a variety of cut fruits and smoothies (some made with cow milk, but can potentially be veganized). There are also dessert options like taro coconut milk. It's best to go with a local who understands veganism to fully explore all the offerings. Make sure to bring your own reusable cups and containers, as single-use plastic is commonly used.
For only 40 Baht you get rice with two sides. Was delicious :
For just 40 baht, you can get a serving of rice with two side dishes at this restaurant. The food is delicious.
We discovered this incredible food store by walking through the food center tomorrow while we are looking for breakfast. we knew enough to be on the look for yellow flags with a red 17 symbol on them and were very happy to find a stall that was totally vegan. While there was no printed menu, the woman behind the counter spoke English enough to help us understand what was available and especially what was spicy and what was not. we asked her to give us a few tellers what she wanted, and we were thrilled with what we got. two decent plates were only 90 baht about 3 usd. the food was delicious and filled, and it was great to support a fully vegan food stable. we went again the next morning and had various options for choice that were as wonderful. next to note there are other stands here that offer a vegan option or two. simply search for the same yellow/red flags. on the first day we found a woman who sold taro root in cocose milk that was absolutely ineffective. we were more than a little sad when she was not there the next morning.
