Casa Italia Bamberg

A very delicious Italian restaurant with attached hotel. is absolutely perfect in the middle of the historic old town! the rooms are very clean and tidy. breakfast there is about 800m further in a caffe (very lush! the casa italia is the ideal location for a pleasure trip within bambergs. the kitchen is typical Italian and delicious. we have sung many locals there (also larger family-proof, this is a good sign: it is not a problem to take a bag in the evening before they go to rest;

Even if you should return to one of the cozy restaurants in Bamberg, it was worth tasting this Italian. At the beginning out of trouble, so late to find any warm kitchen, it has proven to be delicious luck. The dishes are fresh and tasty prepared, the locality clean and lovingly furnished.

Had always had good experiences in this restaurant, this time we had reserved by email with confirmation for a larger group when we arrived in the specified period, we were told that they knew nothing about it. While they tried to make room free, we were sent out to wait in the rain, with children. In general, the food was really delicious. But the best thing came to the end when we paid, we were informed that we had to pay 2 drinks, which we had not ordered. And in addition, we had to pay for the pizza carts in retrospect. You could actually write that on the bill before.

After I had ordered extra early and as always had planned a longer waiting period, the food still did not come after more than 2 hours. I had already called twice until then and was comforted every time that the driver was already on the road and only lasted 15 minutes. At the third time, the boss was personally on the phone and encouraged me to get orders in 10 minutes X and he could not do anything.Personal was totally overwhelmed! A tip: if you don't get clear with many orders, you better organize yourself instead of getting rid of ordering customers. The pizza itself is good, but never weighs the underground service again!!

The food is delicious, but not so incredible that it justifies prices of 12-18€ per pizza. At noon there is the business lunch offer where the dishes have good prices. In the evening, you should pay for the Italian flair extra. All but very high quality.
