The Point In Fells - Baltimore

Given the number of great reviews I thought this would be a good place to try. I was wrong. Food was ok. I got the breakfast bowl. Potatoes and sauce were great. Chicken was tender style and super dried out. Sometimes these are served in a sizzling plate, but this was not. We also tried the crab dip and breakfast burrito. All food was fine but not very good and certainly not great. The service was absolutely horrible. We had to call to be greeted after 10 min. Ordered waters and drinks. Everything slow, but we eventually got the drinks water never can. We asked again and the waitress said she had to greet another table and then would bring water, not acknowledging that she had forgotten prior. Wait another 15 min. At this point we've been there over 40 min. Have been checked on voluntarily zero times by there service staff and are still waiting on water we ordered when they first came over. Finally, I went up to the bar and got a bit of an attitude and then we got water. I don't want to have to do that. Plus it's bottled water which seems very wasteful and unnecessary but also would take less time that using a tap. Will definitely not be visiting again.

I really liked the crab dip. The wings were ok, but I only eat the flats, lol. They couldn't accommodate me for that, so that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I feel like if you're willing to pay extra for what you want, they should accommodate you. JMOFood: 4/5

Solid food choices and the drinks are pretty good. The waiters are friendly and give great recommendations. The food runners could use some improvement. I noticed with my table and others they would bring food to the wrong table and basically look to the customers to be honest about what they ordered. It’s like they were playing a guessing game. There’s got to be a better way to ensure the food is going to the right table.

I have friends visiting with their new puppy and The Point came highly recommended for pup brunch. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The view was wonderful. The umbrella was big enough to keep us dry in the drizzle. Most important, our server Ivan was impeccable. He said it was his first day here, but he was magnificent. He took excellent care of us. I'm so grateful for him this morning!Vegetarian options: They made the deviled eggs without bacon for my pal. They were incredible!

Fantastic food and exceptional service by Ivan. I had special requests and the kitchen easily accommodated me. This place is dog-friendly and they even have their own menu for dogs!Dietary restrictions: Omission of ingredients to make a dish vegetarian was happily executed.
