Bidrage med feedbackWe absolutely adore Claire's Gallery. My two daughters are obsessed with it and it has become our go-to spot. Claire is very attentive and considerate, and the delicious food always keeps us coming back for more. I highly recommend this place for families, friends, or couples looking for a cozy evening out.
I visited this restaurant on a leisurely Sunday and ordered the Teriyaki Salmon Bento box. Bento boxes are a popular choice here, and the restaurant was quite busy. The miso soup that accompanies the Bento box was just the right amount of saltiness and really hit the spot. The Bento box itself was very tasty. While the portions might be considered small by some, I found them to be just the right size.
Took our dogs for a walk along Balmain today when we walked passed this place and decided we should come back to it because of how amazing the food smelt. We ordered the special lunch bento which was only $17 when normally it would be $22. We thought that was quite a significant saving especially for anything else in Balmain (probably get a smashed avo on toast coffee for $17 here). The food was amazing and the service was great. I had to alter the menu a little bit because I couldn 't eat anything raw but they were totally cool with it. Then, after we had paid, the waiter comes out with a platter of fruit as a special gift 'for the baby ' knowing I was pregnant. Super sweet and unexpected. Loved it.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly and the portion sizes are decent. We had lunch there today and were very happy with both the food and the service. The staff even gave us a complimentary fruit, which was a nice touch.
The mix of Modern Australian with a hint of Mediterranean into traditional Japanese is just pure artistry on the part of Sushi Master, Chef Charles!<br/ <br/ Classic Sushi Rolls and Sashimi are feature the freshest catches of the day and are impeccably done.<br/ <br/ When you read CAULIFLOWER SALAD on the menu, you have pre-conceived ideas of what will happen in the kitchen and it will be absolutely nothing like the serving of astonishment at what's brought to the table. The rich burgundy from the beetroot ‘petals’ strikes you as the salad protrudes off the plate into a lotus formation.<br/ <br/ The dorsal cut of JAPANESE EGGPLANT is about half an inch thick, is pan fried to crisp then grilled. There's a slight crunch outside and mousse textured inside as you break through with your for enjoying the syrup of their secret sauce, miso paste, parmesan, spring onion and leek.<br/ <br/ Definitely worth a try!
