Mario's - Ballybunion

Really poor eating. personal without estimating the customers. overpriced and far in traffic than it should be. try them somewhere else.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant for some tasty chips after a walk along the cliffs in Ballybunion. The restaurant is exceptionally clean, whether you decide to eat indoors or outdoors with a beautiful view of the sea. The staff is welcoming, and there are fascinating wall plaques to keep you entertained while you wait for your food.

I dine at this restaurant once a week. Once you give this place a try, you'll be addicted. Usually, with most takeout places, they may get a few things right but mess up the rest. However, at Mario's, everything is consistently delicious. Their homemade Italian-style fries are top-notch, with generous portions. The fresh cod is of high restaurant quality, and the chicken is nearly as good as KFC. The burgers are flavorful, and the pizzas are fantastic. I highly suggest trying out this restaurant.

I havent had Marios in a couple of years and its deteriorated so much since i last ate there. We waited mins for a pizza and garlic bread to be made and this is ballybunion in the middle of november its a ghost town...and when my wife came home with it, it actually smelt like she open a can of dog food. (We dont have dogs) i ate slices of Pizza that tasted ok at the start but by the third slice i had to stop because it was so bland and actually made me feel sick it does not taste like food for human consumption. I also got a curry cheese chip that was cold because it was made while the pizza was being made and left under a light for mins and when i got it home which is literally mins away it was cold and looked like S@&T. I am just after moving home to ballyb and can honestly say i will never eat from Marios Chipper again its POISON, TACKY, OVERPRICED, and so badly run..they didnt even have a can of coke what chipper doesnt sell cans of coke? How this place is allowed sell food is beyond me, bord bia get this place checked and what food is it actually selling
