He had the Aranchini which was light and refreshing I had the Trio of dips. For the mains we had the chicken pollo. There was no room for desert. We learned on our way out that Mama is closing after 40 years to retire. This is the last week to sample some truly great food at a affordable price. Enjoy your retirement Mama
Went here on a Saturday night and it was really quiet, don't really know why since it was so good. They were a little over staffed which meant a lot of standing around for the workers talking to their boss I assume. She should find a place to get out of the way cause it looks lazy. But meant better service for us. I got the linguini meatballs which are that good. Not one meal on our table had something wrong with it, loved everything about it. Easy to get a park near as well.Only complaint is I've heard bad things about the bathrooms, do something about it or you'll have a bad reputation to deal with. I didn't even need to go in there to feel scared.
The customer service is outstanding.Ordered a small pizza just before they closed and they even threw in another garlic pizza.Definitely my favourite restaurant in Ballarat. Beautiful Italian cuisine and amazing artwork to take whilst you sit and dine. Oh my how can forget the deserts, they're mouth watering so Devine.
We have dined at DaVinci's at Ballarat on numerous occasions over the years and have found them to be magnificent up until today. We attended for lunch after travelling for some time and the Pizza was not up to their usual standard. The Pizza was very bland, I had ordered the Super Special with anchovies, it was basic to say the least no salami and the base was burnt slightly. My wife ordered the Siciliana with extra prawns. (Believe it or not the prawns were sliced in half.- Cost Cutting?) but at least there was salami on hers. I informed the waiter upon paying our bill and he didn't seem all that concerned just stating that probably the fault of the supplier. Really the supplier didn't put the pizza together or cook it. Very average.
Da Vinci's recommended to us by manager at The Ansonia on Lydiard which was just a lovely short walk from hotel. The Mgr of Da Vinci's was so friendly with advise on the freshest Flounder.
