Too Fat Sandwich Shop - Bakersfield

A special employee is never very friendly and can never accept simple requests and is almost limitless. This is the deposit.

Small sandwich shop, hidden behind outback steakhouse. Cool mom/pop vibe inside. Customer service was quick and friendly. Had the Killer Pastrami . Very good! The addition of avocado and salsa gave it a great alternate take on Pastrami. The bread was also surprisingly soft and tasty. Well worth trying. My son had the club. It must have been good because when I asked how it was, he just held up a thumbs up, while chewing.

I am only rating the egg salad sandwich. This is due to it being the best I've had so much that I don't order anything else. I wish there was a Too Fat shop in the NW. I'd go more often. I'm sure the other sandwiches are good too and one day I'll try them.

It was disappointing to be completely honest. The service was good and the staff was nice. Sandwich was small and medium. Not bad, not good. Just me. Not sure I'm back, but Mabey.

I've been eating here for over 25 years. Quality is fresh as possible and always taste amazing.
