Las Fuentes Express - Bakersfield

Memorable bento box. I was in Bakersfield last spring for work and happened upon this place for lunch one day. I am back again almost a full year later and all I can think about is making sure that I get another one!! Very few places have food that memorable. I can't recall the exact bento box I got, but I remember everything about it was great the main dish, the salad, the tempura veggies YUM! I will definitely be hitting this place up each time I come to Bakersfield.

Why would you order a salad at a Sushi Bar?!?!?!. Eating the halibut that is staring at me!! Always has good uni.

Excellent Sushi Chef. Bento Express is a great sushi spot with a first-rate young chef who really knows how to cut fish. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.<br/ <br/ Favorite dishes are the sashimi salad and the baked mussels.

Good if you work downtown.. I've been in there a couple times. The sushi is good and the prices are decent. the only problem i had was with the salad. It was served with italian dressing? weird.
