After driving for four hours, I decided to try a local cafe off the main road to support small businesses. However, I was disappointed with my experience. There were five staff members working and the cafe offered both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered a coffee and lunch that were on display, but was disappointed to receive a small coffee for $4.50 that was only warm. I watched as orders went out of the kitchen, with people who ordered after us receiving their meals before us. When I asked about the status of our order, there was no apology given. I ended up asking for a refund and leaving. I hope this small business can improve their service in the future.
I would have thought a cafe that is backed by charity would be full of service however the lady that apparently runs the kitchen was extremely rude. Will not be back
Food was terrible and was equally matched by the service. It was as if they are trying to push people away?!?!?!
Heard about this place from friends so we called in for lunch. Quite an extensive menu for a smallish place hidden in the back street they make a point of employing handicapped people which is another reason to give them a go. Another good point is the breakfast menu goes until 2.30. I had the eggs benedict which were really good as was the coffee. Get a mug as comes in a very large cup just like you get in France. Will we go back yes yes again.
