Bidrage med feedbackGeneral/location/parking The Westerwald itself is rich in stone. Bad Marienberg especially. These stones do not fit into a wallet. They are completely idyllic, in the middle of the forest. The Bad Marienberger is therefore also called loving basaltkopp. But Bad Marienberg is also a health town with spa and wellness offers. Right behind the Marienbad we find a beautiful camper park surrounded by trees and lots of nature. We stay and relax in MarienBad. At noon we arrive. Ambiente In the foyer of MarienBads is a small bistro. The high-rest benches and chairs, covered with brown leather, look cozy, as in a small lounge. From here you can observe the rainy driving in the entrance area and through a large disc the fun slide in the indoor swimming pool. The tables are beautifully decorated with a green bacon, a basket with a pink candle and a matching rose stick. Service The food is ordered in the bistro at the checkout and paid immediately. Once it comes from the kitchen, it is brought to the respective tables. The accommodation is reserved for the guest. We accidentally got the cash bonus from the neighboring table. Food There are 3 daily meals on offer. A Mediterranean noodle pan with chicken meat and side salad (9,90€ , Gyros with pommes, Krautsalat, Zaziki (10,90€ or a mushroom rug with pommes and side salad (10,90€). There is also a pictured map with other salads, burgers, carvings, fish sticks, sausage and co. We stayed at the daily dishes. Apparently all dishes come from the “Fresh kitchen”. But what does that mean? Both the much too coarsely cut gyros and the carvings with thick mushroom sauce were only warmed “fresh”. Tastefully prepared without much love. The herb salad was so upset that I let him stand unaffected. What use tasty pictures in a map if the final product is not so delicious. Conclusion: Pictures of beautifully dressed plates have no taste
